How Did Tiffani Affect Your Life?

By Jean-Francois BERGMANS

How Tiffani has affected my life?

That's a deep question for me and I'll try to give the most honest and personal answer.

Back then, in the 90's, I was in a difficult part of my life.

I had just lost my mother in tragic circumstances, I was working hard in college and loneliness was my best friend.

First time I saw Tiffani on SBTB, I was amazed, not only by her beauty of course but mainly by this positive energy which was coming from her. She was literally brilliant. She was all about happiness and joy. That's a rare gift to have as much charisma and she shares this gift on screen with generosity. She gave me hope in the future and the will to go on further to see what's tomorrow could bring to me. As a true geek, I would say that she is for me, like the Eärendil's star for Frodo, a source a light which shine in the deepest darkness’s. The other characters were less gentle than Kelly Kapowski but far more interesting. She has shown her talent by performing a lot of roles but there is always this energy which is truly coming from Tiffani and is gathering them all.

Then, I have tried to discover the woman behind this glamorous image and I found a down to earth person with simple and true values of life which came from her mother and grand-mother. A person who cherishes her family and realizes the luck she has in her life. But also a person who faces difficulties with wisdom and strength.

My favorite Tiffani's quotes are:

  • Don't worry about little problems of life
  • Take rejection very lightly
  • Be thankful for what you have
  • Now it's time to clean dishes which oddly enough I LOVE to do. I know, I'm weird ;-)

Since the 90's, I have read a lot of her interviews and it's easy to find out if it's a true one or a fake because Tiffani is a faithful person to her values, so you'll always find those same ideas in her words. She's inspiring with her will to realize so much parallel projects with always the same energy. She acted for the others in charity associations like Camp Rainbow. To conclude, she finally became mother, an obvious thing for this family-loving person.

Once again, I'm facing some new difficulties and as always she is "there for me" to help me in the process. Digging to get some old material of her was a nice way to bring back good memories and sending them to RAVE a good way to share it with people who have the same interest for Tiffani. And thank to you Jess to have created RAVE which is a perfect way to follow "our girl" as you say.

I will probably never have the chance to meet her. It's maybe better like that because there's always a gap between the image you create about a person and her real personality but I think that concerning Tiffani, reality is very close to the feeling.

So, as a fan, I would simply say thanks to her, for being her: a person who is living an amazing life but who's able to stay open to her fans, a person with the amazing gift to be able to bring light to other people ... and the generous will to share it with everyone.
