How Did Tiffani Affect Your Life?

By Renee

Tiffani has had a huge affect on my life. I have been a fan of hers since I was 10 years old. I first saw her on Saved by The Bell and immediately felt a connection with her.

I had always had trouble with academic work at school in most subjects, and it was a huge stress for me. I was always told to read at home to help get my reading level up, but it was hard to get myself to do it. I didn't like reading the silly or boring books that were on my reading level. The books I was interested in were too high of a reading level for me. But when my mom learned of my new love of Tiffani and SBTB she looked for and found a whole stack of teen magazines that featured her.

She surprised me with them when she picked me up from religious school (something else I hated). From that day on I devoured those magazines and continually got new ones that came out quite often. When I learned there were SBTB books too, I remember spending my whole summer reading them, especially the ones that featured Kelly. This is something I NEVER did without being asked to. As a result my reading level went up a couple grades to around where it should have been. So in a way you could say Tiffani helped me get through school.

As I got older, Tiffani continued to have a huge effect on my life. Even with my reading level up, school continued to be a struggle and a huge stress for me, even making me sick. When I became a fan of hers and SBTB and 90210 they became my "go to" things. There were times when I was so unhappy/stressed/ and or depressed and I would watch 90210 every week or a Tiffani movie and for that time I forgot my problems. It gave me something to look forward to and get excited about.

Seeing how hard of a life her character Valerie had on 90210 really made me realize how good I had it in other aspects of my life (family and friends). This character had been through so much and much worse things than me and she was still moving on and being successful. She gave me hope. It sounds weird to say, but I honestly don't know if I could have made it through school and now college without her.

Tiffani as herself has also been a huge part of my life since I was a child. At first I got interested in her because I loved her character Kelly on SBTB and then realized how great of an actress she was on 90210. But when I learned what the real Tiffani is like, I felt a real connection and admiration for her.

I also love her style and fashion sense. Since I was a kid I have tried to get similar items here and there that I've seen Tiffani wear. I even dressed as her for Halloween for I don't know how many years.

I love that she is in Hollywood, but is very family oriented and close to her family just like I am. I admire the type of mother she is too. She knows that time spent with her daughter is more important than anything else she can give her. She comes from a great family background with good morals and values. That is hard to find in many actors or actresses these days, and I really admire that about her. I also share a love of kids and animals like she does.

She goes above and beyond donating to charities. In addition to donating she actually stays and hangs out with kids that have cancer at a camp for a whole week. She is an inspiration for me.

And even finding this Tiffani site back when it opened in 2002 really helped me. I was going through a stressful time. Connecting with other fans of Tiffani that felt the same way I did about her really helped my mood and gave me something good to focus on. I ended up meeting some really great people on here. So, in one way or another Tiffani continues to have a huge positive effect on my life. I only hope to meet her one day, which would be the icing on the cake. :) Thanks to Tiffani for being such an amazing person and huge influence in my life.

Renee at Halloween time dressed up Tiffani!

This is a picture of me (on the right) dressed as Tiffani for Halloween when I was 12. Don't mind my sister on the left dressed as a dead farmer. You can't see it but my hair is in a butterfly clip like Tiffani used to wear a lot on season 6 of 90210. And notice the mole!
