Character: Sharon Bates Main Cast: Téa Leoni as Ellie George Hamilton as Ed Treat Williams as Hal Jaeger Woody Allen as Val Waxman Debra Messing as Lori Fox Synopsis: Woody Allen plays Val Waxman, a film director, who was once big in the 1970's and 1980's, but has now has been reduced to directing TV commercials. Finally, he gets an offer to make a big film. But, disaster strikes, when Val goes temporarily blind, due to paranoia. Apparently, she finds Val to be a very sexy older-type of man when she invites him into her room at night. Everytime Val looks into her eyes, it feels as if he's making love to her. When they talk, Val is temporarily blind and she thinks nothing of it. Throughout the whole movie, Tiffani is pretty much - another actress.
