Tiffani on Jennie Garth Feud: "I Was the One Who Was Hurt" (August 2012)
There are two sides to every story, and Tiffani Thiessen wants hers to be heard.
If there's anything we've learned in the years since Beverly Hills, 90210 ended its run, it's that the drama was just as prevalent off screen as it was on. Thiessen, 38, visited Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show Monday morning and opened up about how her relationships with her former costars fell apart.
According to the White Collar star, she was closest with Jennie Garth (pictured above with Thiessen in 2004). But their relationship apparently got off to a rocky start.
"The girls were not very nice to me," Thiessen admitted to Stern, according to Us Weekly. But Garth "actually apologized" for her behavior and then the two "became very good friends."
They were so close, in fact, that Thiessen was a bridesmaid in Garth's wedding and was present at the birth of her first child. But something happened between the two of them that has destroyed the former teen starlets' relationship. If our timeline is correct, the duo haven't been on speaking terms for more three years.
"We had a falling out and we grew apart. I was the one who was hurt, let's just say that. I was the one who was hurt," Thiessen said. "It's funny, our relationship started really rough and ended the way it started."
She added: "It's water under the bridge. I've moved on. I wish her well."
Garth isn't the only 90210 star Thiessen has clashed with. Although they weren't as close initially, Thiessen also isn't on the best terms with Tori Spelling. Their relationship became even more complicated when Spelling split from her first husband Charlie Shanian back in 2006.
"It was a hard situation for everybody," Thiessen said. "We were close with Charlie... my best friend was Charlie's roommate. It was hard."
Still, Thiessen says she has no hard feelings toward Spelling.
"Our kids go to the same school, and she's moved on," the former soap star admitted. "I'm glad she's happy, and she's having tons of kids and she's great. I'm happy for her."
Interestingly enough, it's now formerly-feuding 90210 stars Garth, Spelling and Shannen Doherty who are very close. Maybe Thiessen just has to wait another decade or so to become BFFs with her former costars again.
